The BIOWA™ Development Association is working to support and promote the growth and development of Iowa's bioeconomy. The group has set goals of developing at least ten regional biorefineries in Iowa by 2020, building at least five new biobusinesses, or major expansions of existing biobusinesses each year beginning in 2005, and providing investment opportunities for Iowans in biorefineries and biobased businesses.
