Daryl Haack

Daryl Haack, chairman of the ethanol committee of the National Corn Growers Association, has been actively involved in ethanol development, including working on growing markets for distiller's grains. Prior to joining the National Corn Growers Association board, he has served for over eight years on the Iowa Corn Promotion Board.
Through his growing relationships with the state checkoff representatives and his grassroots leadership skills, Haack is working to enhance NCGA’s working relationship with the Iowa legislators in Washington, D.C. as well as to maintain better relations with the state checkoff boards.
Haack and his family have grown zone-till corn and no-till soybeans on their Iowa family farm for the past 35 years. He has been involved in his local farm bureau and Iowa checkoff board for the last nine years, holding officer positions in each and chairing the market development and corn information committees.
