    Vijay Singh
     

Dr. Vijay Singh is an Associate Professor in the Department of Agricultural and Biological Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.  His research is on development of novel fractionation technologies for corn dry grind ethanol and corn wet milling processes.  Dr. Singh has authored numerous professional publications and holds five patents related to corn processing and ethanol production.  He received his M.S. and Ph.D. in Food and Bioprocess Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.  Dr. Singh is recipient of several research and teaching awards from professional societies, trade organizations and academic institutions.  Professor Singh has served as associate editor for Journal of Cereal Chemistry and is currently associate editor for Journal of the American Oil Chemists’ Society, Transactions of ASABE and Applied Engineering in Agriculture.  Vijay has organized and chaired national and international conferences on biofuels and cereal grains processing.  He is member of American Association of Cereal Chemists, American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers, the American Institute of Chemical Engineers and the Institute of Food Technologists. 


    Tong Wang  
      Dr. Tong Wang is a lipid chemist.  She received her BS and MS degrees in Pharmacy and Pharmaceutics from Northeastern University of Pharmacy, China. She continued her graduate education with a MS and PhD in Food Science from University of Arkansas and Iowa State University in 1992 and 1998, respectively. She joined ISU Food Science and Human Nutrition faculty in 2000.Dr. Wang’s research foci are processing and value-added utilization of soybeans, corn, egg, and other agricultural products or by-products, primarily for their lipid components. She has published 46 peer-reviewed journal articles, 9 book chapters, and been awarded one U.S. patent. Her major honors and awards include Early Achievement in Research Award, ISU College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, Honored Student Award from the American Oil Chemists’ Society (AOCS), numerous Outstanding Research Presentation awards from AOCS, Graduate Research Excellence Award and Academic Excellence Award from ISU Graduate College.


    Michael Morgan  
     

Michael Morgan is currently Vice President, Licensing of Renessen LLC.  Morgan is responsible for the licensing activity related to the Extrax™ System. Morgan was most recently CFO of Renessen LLC.  He was previously responsible for the Renessen Latin American businesses and for the Feed Corn R&D pipeline. Morgan was employed by Monsanto before he joined Renessen.  He held various positions of increasing responsibility in accounting, finance, business analysis and planning including assignments as VP, Competitor Strategy Team, the Vice President of Strategy for the Global Seed Group, Director–Seed Business Team and Chief Financial Officer of CEREGEN, a unit of Monsanto.  He has extensive experience in the field of mergers and acquisitions. Michael earned a B.S. degree in business administration from Benedictine College in 1972.  He earned an M.B.A. degree from University of Missouri - St. Louis.
